my maxx 1000 has hanged

Can you pls tell me how to get menu or change my password,as of now my device is hanged and once i opened it directly connect to 47 channel and after that i want to scroll down it doesn't work,Please help me

i there best way is to do a total re-install of software just overwrite the old one upload new bin file. did you backup image at all before u started using box? or anywhere along the lines op updating it? if not try software at altech.5forum.net hope this helps

p.s u will have to upload software via rs232 cable connected to pc
